This sector has achieved an impressive production value of 12 billion USD, with an average of 56% of this figure, translating to around 7 billion USD, being reflected through insurance output.
When examining the distribution of policies, it becomes evident that insurance agencies play a critical role, constituting 86% of all policy issuances across different distribution channels. Despite their significant contribution to the industry, agencies rank third in terms of income, raising concerns about fairness and equity in their compensation relative to their workload. The disparities highlighted suggest that while legally compliant, current remuneration structures may be neither fair nor properly aligned with traditional values.
