Oak Reinsurance, in partnership with Polo Managing Agency Limited, has received preliminary approval from Lloyd’s to begin underwriting under the Oak Re Syndicate 2843 starting January 1, 2025. Paul Andrews, CEO of PoloWorks, expressed pride in collaborating with Oak Re on their entry into Lloyd’s, emphasizing the executive team’s extensive underwriting expertise. Cathal Carr, CEO and Founder of Oak Re, noted their commitment to working closely with Polo’s industry experts. PoloWorks is a part of Marco Capital, a consolidator for P&C legacy solutions, and recently launched Polo MGA to support managing general agents.
