Turkey’s Insurance Association recently hosted a delegation from the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC), led by FIG Director Florence Boupda. The visiting team, which included experts Alain Nounke, James Smouse, Ledia Cirko, Zeeshan Vazeer, Barbora Bodnarova, Mustafa Naseem, and İlker Çetin, engaged in discussions about the current state of the Turkish insurance sector. TSB Secretary General Özgür Obalı, along with Assistant Secretaries Aysun Yıldız Özer and Balkır Demirkan, provided insights into the sector’s dynamics and explored potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions. The meeting underlines the growing interest in Turkey’s insurance landscape and the possibility of future partnerships that could enhance the industry’s development.
