In the first half of 2024, participants in Turkey’s Voluntary Pension System (BES) increased by 443,000, bringing the total to 9 million. The total fund size grew by 211 billion TL, surpassing 837 billion TL.
Meanwhile, the Automatic Enrollment System (OKS) saw an increase of over 135,000 employees. The fund size for OKS rose by 18 billion TL, reaching 68 billion TL. In this period, the inclusion of 1.2 million new participants contributed an additional 2.5 billion TL to the fund size.
