TARSİM participated in an evaluation meeting organized by the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and Bereket Insurance in Manisa on October 3rd. The meeting aimed to inform attendees about the State-Supported Agricultural Insurance System and its applications.
Key participants included Seyfettin GÜN and Mahmut BIÇAKLI from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, Ertuğrul ÇELİK, Deputy General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool Company, and Faruk GÖKÇEN, General Manager of Bereket Insurance. Representatives from the TARSİM Manisa Regional Directorate, Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, and Bereket Insurance also attended.
During the program, data specific to agricultural insurance in Manisa was shared, highlighting the region’s significant agricultural production and the crucial role of insurance as a safeguard for producers. The discussion underscored the importance of collaborating with insurance companies and stakeholders to enhance the system’s outreach and producer satisfaction while addressing participant inquiries.
