A delegation from the Philippines’ Autonomous Bangsamoro Region, led by Dr. Tong D. PINGUIAMAN, Director of Agricultural Reform Support Services, visited TARSİM on September 5. The group included key officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agricultural Reforms, focusing on enhancing collaboration regarding agricultural insurance.
During the visit, TARSİM’s significant role in agricultural insurance was emphasized, detailing its establishment, growth, and achievements. Discussions also highlighted the importance of state support and addressed the increasing relevance of agricultural insurance in light of climate change impacts on farming practices globally. Future cooperative initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability in agriculture through improved insurance applications were also explored.
