The TOBB Insurance Agents Executive Committee (TOBB-SAİK) held its regular April meeting on April 16 and 17 in Ankara at the TOBB Twin Towers.The agenda was quite extensive, with the Insurance Agents Executive Committee addressing significant issues and discussing the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).Due to the extensive agenda and discussions regarding KVKK, the meetings were held over two consecutive days, April 16 and 17.The main topics of the meeting were as follows:
- Evaluation of the Constitutional Court’s decision to cancel the 15-day coverage period after the transfer of vehicles in Traffic Insurance and the dissemination of accurate information to colleagues,
- Discussion with the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBM) regarding planned SBM entries through e-Government to prevent screen sharing,
- Organizing an urgent meeting with the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK),
- Arranging a meeting with the official institution of brokers,
- Evaluating the feedback on requests submitted to SEDDK,
- Suspension of operations for branches of agents that do not register branch managers.
The meeting concluded with discussions on investigations, prosecutions, and disciplinary penalties.TOBB-SAİK expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Insurance Agents Executive Committee and wished them success in future endeavors.
