The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) has confirmed the registration of two new insurers in June, bringing the total number of insurance entities registered this year to 32. Lincoln Pinehurst Reinsurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd was registered in Class E, while Acrisure Bermuda Ltd was registered as a broker. Additionally, Scenery Re Ltd was registered in the Restricted SPI category, and Mt Logan Capital Management Ltd was registered as an insurance manager. These registrations bring the total number of insurers registered in 2024 to 26, with six intermediaries also registered.
