Nicola Stacey, currently the Chief Underwriting Officer at Chaucer, has been elected as the new President of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), set to take office on January 1, 2025. With over 30 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance, including a significant tenure at Swiss Re, Stacey aims to enhance public trust in the profession and support the CII’s strategic goals. Richard Milner, CEO of Chaucer, expressed confidence in Stacey’s leadership capabilities, highlighting her industry expertise. Stacey, who is currently serving as the Deputy President, expressed gratitude to the CII members for their support and enthusiasm for her new role.
