These states have reported substantial financial losses due to cyber incidents, with Colorado experiencing a 58.7% increase in cyberattack losses since 2017, totaling over $104 million. Business Email Compromise (BEC) remains the most financially damaging form of cyberattack, causing losses exceeding $1.7 billion since 2020.
