This acquisition, finalized on August 1, marks the company’s ongoing growth strategy that has included over 175 acquisitions to date across 29 states. The Hilb Group, which operates under The Carlyle Group, has recently expanded its service offerings in other regions, including a Midwest employee benefits acquisition in Illinois and a worksite benefits business in Georgia. The company continues to invest in strategic hires, notably appointing Amanda Harm as vice president of carrier relations and insurance strategy.
