The Istanbul Film Festival has celebrated Turkish cinema by supporting the restoration of the 1987 classic film “Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen,” bringing new copies into circulation. Following the film’s gala screening, Zurich Insurance Group hosted a vibrant event at Cahide Palazzo, in line with their tradition of promoting cinematic heritage.
The “Songs, Love, and Us” party was co-hosted by CEO Yılmaz Yıldız and Kerem Ayan, Director of the Istanbul Film Festival. The evening featured performances by Emir Ersoy and his orchestra, with artists including Melike Şahin, Doğa Duru, Pelin Akil, Suzanne Kardeş, Merve Dizdar, Gökçe Bahar, and Aytaç Özeren, who showcased timeless love songs.
Embracing the philosophy that “What is created with passion must be preserved with passion,” Zurich Insurance has been dedicated to restoring overlooked masterpieces of Turkish cinema since 2018, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the country’s rich cinematic culture.
