The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) has reported that it has successfully intervened with the Insurance and Private Pension Regulatory and Supervisory Authority (the Authority) regarding the use of KIOSKs by certain notaries for traffic insurance transactions. The Authority has agreed to take necessary measures to halt this practice, which is deemed inappropriate.
TOBB emphasizes the importance of compliance with legal regulations and requests that any concrete information and documentation related to such violations, including the activities of notaries that contradict regulatory requirements, be sent to the email address sigortacilik@tobb.org.tr. This initiative aims to ensure that penalties are imposed on the parties involved and to put an end to unlawful practices in the insurance sector.
