The Insurance Committee held a consultation meeting titled “Insurance Agents Special Health Insurance Consultation Meeting” on February 5, 2025, at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building. This event gathered representatives from the Insurance Committee, the Regulation and Supervision Agency for Insurance and Private Pensions, and the Turkish Association of Insurance Reassurance and Pension Companies.
The primary aim of the meeting was to identify the challenges faced by insurance agents specializing in private health insurance and to improve their operational processes. By enhancing the effectiveness of these agents, the committee seeks to contribute positively to public health, the national economy, and the insurance sector. As private health insurance plays a vital role in mitigating unexpected healthcare costs, empowering agents in this domain is crucial for strengthening society’s overall health safety net.
