Hub International Limited has appointed Tim Smith as the new president and CEO of its Carolinas region, which includes operations in North and South Carolina. Smith, who previously held the position of chief sales officer at HUB International Carolinas and has extensive experience in insurance and business development, will oversee 13 offices and a team of nearly 340 members. His responsibilities will include driving profitable growth, managing mergers and acquisitions, and servicing a diverse portfolio of over 50 commercial insurance clients, focusing on sectors like nonprofit, construction, and hospitality. Smith aims to continue the company’s organic growth strategy and maintain its leadership in the middle-market insurance brokerage sector in the Carolinas.
