At the ELSADER SAZ Event: “Sector Growth is Possible with Agents”

The Elazığ Insurance Agents Association (ELSADER) participated in the Insurance Agents Summit (SAZ), one of the major gathering points of the insurance industry. At the event, it was emphasized that the sustainable growth of the insurance sector can only be achieved by working shoulder to shoulder with agents.

Bringing together insurance professionals from all over Turkey, the Insurance Agents Summit (SAZ) became a productive platform where current developments, opportunities, and challenges faced by agents in the sector were discussed. The ELSADER delegation, successfully representing Elazığ and regional agents at the summit, exchanged information with colleagues and made important assessments regarding the future of the sector.

“The Sector Must Grow Together with Agents”

The most critical topic highlighting the panels and discussions throughout the summit was growth strategies in the insurance market. It was stated that despite digitalization steps and changing market conditions, the on-the-ground experience and client-facing role of agents remain irreplaceable.

M. Harun Barut, President of the Elazığ Insurance Agents Association and Vice Chairman of the SAİK Executive Committee, pointed out during his contacts and evaluations that the agent channel is indispensable for raising insurance awareness and expanding premium production to the grassroots. Barut included the following remarks in his assessment:

“If a long-term and healthy growth of the sector is aimed, this is only possible by supporting the agents, who are the greatest force on the ground, and walking together with them. A strong agent network means a strong insurance sector.”

Completing their meetings at the event, the ELSADER delegation returned to the region to convey the important gains obtained from the summit to their colleagues in Elazığ, delivering the message that they will continue to work in harmony and cooperation with all stakeholders in the sector.
