The President of the Association of Insurance Brokers and Agencies (SAAD), Halil İbrahim Ece, and his executive team recently visited Emine Feray Sezgin, the Deputy Chairperson of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK), along with her delegation. The meeting, which lasted approximately 90 minutes, focused on addressing various challenges faced by insurance agencies and exploring potential solutions within the sector.
Following the meeting, Ece expressed his appreciation for the fruitful discussions, stating, “We presented our compiled issues and proposals pertaining to the insurance sector to the SEDDK. While we had constructive conversations about the challenges faced by our agencies, certain issues require legislative changes for resolution. We are committed to taking necessary steps in collaboration with all stakeholders to enhance our sector.”
Ece emphasized the importance of unity among all components within the industry to achieve common benefits. He concluded his remarks by thanking Sezgin and her team for their hospitality during the visit.
