Representatives from our board, including President Ayhan Çalık, board member Berk Özsöz, and member Merih Zengin, attended the advisory board meeting hosted by Maltepe University. The gathering, led by Assistant Professor Aslı Öztopçu, focused on enhancing insurance awareness in Turkey and discussing strategies to mitigate the risk gap. It was underscored that fostering insurance literacy is a national priority and a shared responsibility among all sectors.
During the meeting, participants explored the potential for collaboration between SAB and Maltepe University, emphasizing initiatives that engage banking and insurance students. Plans were discussed to create joint committees aimed at developing projects that address these issues within a framework of University-NGO cooperation.
