AVSAD Attends Panel on Earthquake Reality and Disaster Insurance

AVSAD Chair Fatma Karataş and board members took part in the panel 'The Earthquake Reality in Türkiye and the Change in Practice in Compulsory Disaster Insurance,' organised by İTO's Insurance Professional Committee. The panel was chaired by İTO Insurance Professional Committee Chair Özgür Yılmaz, and an exchange of information took place with the participation of sector representatives.
Speakers at the panel included SEDDK Deputy Chair Emine Feray Sezgin, TOBB Insurance Agencies Executive Committee Chair Levent Korkut, DASK Coordinator Özgür Bülent Koç, Yıldız Technical University faculty member Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy, and Allianz Technical Test Centre Director and Risk Engineer Dr. Ceyhun Eren. The panel addressed the earthquake reality in Türkiye and innovations and current changes in practice in compulsory disaster insurance.
AVSAD board members Çetin Sançak, Adem Yılmaz, Ferhat Korkut, Hüseyin Karasulu and Ümit Güven Akçakaya also took part in the panel. Thanks were extended to all participants and those who contributed to the event's successful organisation.
