ELSADER Hosts Quick Sigorta Delegation in Elazığ Visit

ELSADER (an insurance agencies' association in Elazığ) Chair M. Harun Barut hosted Maher Holding Sigorta Grubu Chair Ahmet Yaşar in Elazığ on 27 November 2025. The meeting covered the sector's agenda as well as agency-company relations and the company's investments in the region.

At the time of the visit, Yaşar held the position of Chair of Maher Holding Sigorta Grubu as well as Vice Chair of TSB (Türkiye's insurance and pension industry association). Barut, alongside the ELSADER chairmanship, was Vice Chair of the Sector Assembly of TOBB SAİK (TOBB's insurance agencies executive committee).

The meeting was also attended by Musa Gülnar and Mehmet Bingöl, referred to as SAİK Elazığ delegates, alongside Barut.

Barut's assessment

Speaking at the meeting, Barut said the vision Quick Sigorta (an insurer based in Türkiye) had displayed since its founding, its digitalisation steps and its practices geared toward customer experience had contributed to the transformation in insurance.

In an assessment on behalf of agencies, Barut said that, beyond technological developments, what agencies valued most was the company's approach of treating the agency as a "business partner," the importance it gave to the field, and its effort to strengthen cooperation. Barut said this way of relating, which expands the agency's role in the sector and is based on mutual trust, contributed both to the future of the profession and to spreading insurance awareness in society.

Expressing satisfaction at hosting the delegation in Elazığ, Barut said the consultations held would benefit the insurance ecosystem both in the city and across the country.

Investment in the region and a gift presentation

The report said the meeting also touched on Maher Holding's investments in the region, and that Barut thanked Yaşar and the team for the QCAR services brought to Elazığ.

At the end of the visit, the same report said, ELSADER presented Yaşar, on behalf of Elazığ's agencies, with a painting depicting the "Çayda Çıra" folk dance, a symbol of the city.
