ESAD Takes Strong Steps for İzmir Insurance Sector

The board of ESAD (an insurance agencies' association in the Aegean region) continues its visits to strengthen cooperation and development in the insurance sector. The visits covered the association's short- and medium-term projects to advance İzmir's insurance sector, with detailed briefings on the Academy's activities and preparatory training ahead of the Segem exam on 2 November.
In talks with regional managers, the sector's current state, an assessment of the final quarter of 2024, and expectations for 2025 were among the key topics. Atlas Mutuel Sigorta İzmir Regional Manager Banu Aldoğan stressed the importance the company places on proper risk management and pricing for technical profitability, and said the company regards agencies as business partners. Orient Sigorta A.Ş. İzmir Regional Manager Salim Boz said the importance of risk management has grown over the past five years and that non-motor insurance products will hold great value in the future. Anadolu Sigorta Western Anatolia Regional Manager Mustafa Alperdem said insurance is evolving toward a new management approach and that the company works closely with agencies.
ESAD thanked Banu Aldoğan, Salim Boz and Mustafa Alperdem for the success of these visits and reaffirmed its determination to continue developing İzmir's insurance sector and cooperation.
