Joint Step Taken for Fair Competition With Agencies

A SAB Board delegation met with Neova Sigorta General Manager Neslihan Neciboğlu, Deputy General Manager for Marketing and Sales Habip Çetinkaya, and Director of Agencies and Alternative Distribution Channels Abdurrahim Boz. The meeting focused on concerns that the digital distribution channel's efforts to compete with agencies were overshadowing opportunities for the Agency Distribution Channel in the sector. The delegation agreed on the need for cooperation between the institutions to make more effective use of agencies' potential. Neciboğlu stressed that prices are the same across all distribution channels, with no difference between them.
Çetinkaya said the company does not treat the bank distribution channel as its "own property" and values every distribution channel equally. Çetinkaya, who stressed the need for fairness toward customers, said policyholders should remain with the channel they are already in. SAB Chair Ayhan Çalık, for his part, stressed the importance of fair competition and thanked Neova Sigorta for its sensitivity on the issue.
The visit ended with mutual wishes for success, and thanks were conveyed to Neova Sigorta for its hospitality.
