No Penalty for Third-Party Credit Card Use: Revenue Administration

The Revenue Administration (GİB) announced that cases where the customer and the cardholder making the payment for a purchase of goods or services are different people are not subject to a special irregularity penalty. In its statement, it was stressed that this situation would not lead to a penalty under the regulation.
In other words, the identity of the person making the payment has no effect on the delivery of goods or the performance of services. Within this framework, it was announced that no penalty would be applied for using someone else's credit card.
