The KASIDER and the Women Insurers Association, with the support of Quick Sigorta, hosted the “Effective Claims Management in Fire Insurance” training series on April 17, 2024, at the Quick Tower. This event, enriched by contributions from veteran claims managers in the Turkish insurance sector, provided comprehensive insights into effective claims management specifically in the realm of fire insurance for industry professionals.
During the event held at Quick Tower, more than 20 instructors led various training sessions. Participants were informed that their training certificates would be distributed following an examination conducted by the Turkish Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (TSEV) during Insurance Week.
Key topics included sections relevant to the Turkish Commercial Code and General Conditions, crucial factors to consider in fire restorations, and a visit to a unique mobile lab in Hendek—an initiative that significantly enhances the fire claims process by allowing on-site assessments. The training also featured a study of major restoration claims handled to date, among other significant themes.
This initiative underscores the commitment to improving knowledge and skills in the critical area of fire insurance claims management, aiming to elevate standards across the Turkish insurance industry.
