A protocol ceremony was held for the construction of the Quick Sigorta Mahmut Erdemoğlu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and the Quick Sigorta Mine Erdemoğlu Student Dormitory in Nurdağı, Gaziantep, funded by Quick Sigorta. Mahmut Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Maher Holding Board, announced that the decision to proceed with the project was made shortly after the February 6 earthquake, emphasizing the need for new zoning regulations and the clearance of debris before implementation could begin.

Erdemoğlu stated, “We continue to uphold one of the life principles taught to us by our late father, Mehmet Erdemoğlu—that of leaving behind lasting and beneficial contributions to our country.” He highlighted the importance of vocational schools in agriculture, particularly in regions with intensive agricultural and livestock activities, as they provide young people with a secure future without job concerns. Additionally, he noted that the dormitory would cater to the accommodation needs of students from surrounding areas, thus broadening the scope of the project. Erdemoğlu expressed the goal of increasing such initiatives within the limits of available resources, celebrating the signing of the protocols as a significant step forward for the region and the country.
