4th Insurance Sector Cooperation Fair Held in Istanbul
Held under SEDDK's patronage and with TOBB's support, the 4th Insurance Sector Cooperation Fair took place on 1-3 October 2025 as Türkiye's only insurance fair.
The 4th Insurance Sector Cooperation Fair and Congress, described as Türkiye's first and only insurance fair, was held in Istanbul on 1-3 October 2025. The event was organised under the patronage of SEDDK (Türkiye's insurance and pension regulator) and with the support of TOBB (Türkiye's union of chambers and commodity exchanges), at the WOW Hotel Istanbul Fair Centre.
The fair brought together all stakeholders of the insurance sector and hosted international participation. The fair area in Istanbul's Yeşilköy district was open to the public, aimed at raising insurance awareness and informing policyholders.
Who was invited?
According to the announcement, invitees to the event included the Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance, the Minister of Trade, the Minister of Health, the Minister of National Education, the Governor of Istanbul, the Chair of SEDDK, the Chair of TSB (Türkiye's insurance and pension industry association), and the general managers of insurance, pension and reinsurance companies.
Major institutions of the sector also took part in the fair: the Insurance Guarantee Account, TSEV, SEGEM, the Insurance Arbitration Commission and the Pension Monitoring Centre were among the participants.
Part of the 14th Insurance Week
The congress was held as part of the 14th Insurance Week, with the official opening held on 1 October 2025 at 11:00. The Insurance Week programme had begun on 29 September 2025 with the 4th International Insurance Summit; over the course of the week, summits, the fair, social events and information meetings were held.

Previous fair was held in Antalya
The third fair in the series had been held in Antalya in October 2024, as part of the 13th Insurance Week. Speaking at the opening of that fair, TSB Chair Uğur Gülen had highlighted the goal of leaving no one in Türkiye uninsured, sharing targets such as raising insurance penetration to 7-8% within ten years and achieving 100% coverage in compulsory insurance lines.
Sector associations also took part in the 2025 edition of the fair; the management of the Tekli Sigorta Acenteleri Derneği (TEKSADER) announced that it had also attended the event.
