Türk Loydu Academy Hall and Defence Workshop Opens

The opening of the Türk Loydu Academy Hall and the Defence Industry Workshop, organised by Türk Loydu Foundation (the foundation behind classification society Türk Loydu), was held with the participation of Tuzla District Governor Ümit Hüseyin Güney. The event, held at the Türk Loydu Head Office, was the fifth and final event in a workshop series addressing classification, conformity assessment and certification activities in the defence industry, naval vessels and related fields.
The workshop discussed Türk Loydu's experience in defence industry projects, current practices and areas for development in detail. Representatives from the defence industry, shipyards and related institutions and organisations attended the event, along with managers and experts from Türk Loydu Foundation and Türk Loydu A.Ş. In addition to the opening, the workshop provided an opportunity to share the latest information in the sector.
The outcomes of the five workshops organised by Türk Loydu Foundation will be evaluated as part of an upcoming Results Summit and shared with the public. Thanks were extended to all public institutions, sector representatives and Türk Loydu's stakeholders who contributed to the workshops. It was expressed that these efforts are hoped to produce positive outcomes for Türkiye's shipping and defence industry.
