Achim Bosch has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Deutsche Rückversicherung AG, effective July 1, 2025. He will succeed Frank Schaar, who has held the position since February 2018 and will retire at the end of June 2025. As a current member of the Executive Board and Chief Underwriting Officer at Deutsche Rück, Bosch brings extensive experience from his nearly 25 years at Gen Re. The Supervisory Board emphasized the importance of a smooth transition and continuity in leadership for the company moving forward.
