Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group has appointed Nico Kleine Punte as the leader of its accounting operations, enhancing its management team. Kleine Punte brings over ten years of experience in the Caribbean insurance and reinsurance sectors, having held senior positions at firms like PwC and BF&M Group. Alongside him, the company has welcomed Derek Shanahan as Senior Vice President and Account Executive, and Nancy Manyange as Reinsurance Accountant, both of whom are expected to bolster Blue Ocean’s operational efficiency and client services. These strategic hires come as Blue Ocean Re, launched in February 2024, aims to expand its service offerings in the reinsurance market.
