BMS Group has appointed Ryan Phillips as Director and African Practice Leader, effective March 2025. Based in London, Phillips will oversee operations throughout Africa and will work closely with the BMS team servicing clients in South Africa, covering various insurance lines including property, political violence, and cyber risks. This marks Phillips’ return to BMS after a previous 12-year tenure, having most recently served as CEO of Afro Asian Insurance Services. The company expresses confidence that Phillips’ extensive market knowledge and international relationships will enhance its growth in the African region.
