Carbon Underwriting has projected nearly £400 million in gross written premiums (GWP) for 2025, driven by its Syndicate 4747 and the newly launched Syndicate 5757, aimed at expanding into the US market. Active Underwriter Rob Crocker emphasized the significance of this expansion and forecasts Syndicate 5757 alone will generate £119 million GWP with a stamp capacity of £90 million. The company’s strategy leverages advanced technology through Graphene, enhancing data handling and underwriting efficiency. Carbon is also planning to bolster its team by hiring over 30 new employees to support this anticipated growth.
