Corebridge Financial has appointed Edward Bousa as an independent director to its board, effective immediately. Bousa, a veteran portfolio manager with over four decades of experience, previously worked at Wellington Management Company and holds leadership roles on several other boards, including those of Omnicell and Azenta, Inc. His extensive background in investment management and corporate advising is expected to benefit Corebridge Financial, particularly following its recent deconsolidation from American International Group (AIG). AIG had reported significant losses attributed to this deconsolidation, highlighting the strategic moves shaping both companies’ futures.
