Giorgio Giovanni Gonzalez, 38, has been charged with two counts of acting as a public insurance adjuster without a license, allegedly defrauding homeowners in Broward County of nearly $35,000. Authorities claim he misrepresented himself as a licensed adjuster, withholding settlement checks due to clients who had filed insurance claims for home damage. His previous license had been suspended in 2013 for failing to maintain a surety bond, and he was already arrested for similar offenses in 2023. If convicted, Gonzalez could face up to 30 years in prison.
