Erdal Turgut, DASK Coordinator, and Serpil Günal, DASK Secretary-General, participated in a panel discussion titled “Transition of Mandatory Earthquake Insurance to Mandatory Disaster Insurance,” organized by the İzmir Chamber of Commerce.
Moderated by Mevlüt Söylemez, TOBB Insurance Manager, the panel featured discussions with key industry leaders, including Levent Korkut, President of the TOBB Insurance Agents Executive Committee; Ahmet Nedim Erdem, President of the TOBB Insurance Experts Executive Committee; and Ahmet Yaşar, Vice President of TSB. The meeting provided valuable insights into current agenda items and evaluated the transition processes to the new disaster insurance framework, resulting in a productive exchange of ideas among professionals in the field.
