Marmara University hosted a significant event titled “University-Industry Meetings,” which connected students from the Banking, Insurance, and Actuarial Department with industry professionals. The event took place on Tuesday, May 14, at the Dragos Campus of Marmara University.
Key presentations were delivered by Seda Orman Küçükçirkin, the Head of Domestic Reinsurance Acceptances at Millî Reasürans, who spoke on “Turkey’s Reinsurance Markets and Millî Reasürans.” Selçuk Ünal, the Head of the Shipping and Liability Services, presented on “Voluntary Reinsurance Acceptances,” while Fulya Öztürk, the Human Resources Manager, shared insights on “Human Resources Practices at Millî Reasürans.”
The event also saw participation from Utku Özdemir, General Manager of Millî Reasürans, General Manager Assistant Şule Soylu, and Corporate Communication Manager Hanzade Şenol. Following the presentations, attendees engaged in fruitful one-on-one discussions, showcasing the eagerness of students to connect with professionals in the field.
