**Turkey to Host Special Session at the Dubai World Insurance Congress**
This year marks the 20th edition of the Dubai World Insurance Congress, which will feature a dedicated session focused on Turkey for the first time. Scheduled for April 29-30, the event will bring together over 1,250 insurance and reinsurance professionals from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Turkey at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai.
The Turkey session will be moderated by Atınç Yılmaz, a board member of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (SBD). Key speakers include Cenk Ecevit, President of SBD; Uğur Gülen, President of the Turkish Insurance and Reinsurance Companies Association; and Phil Story, President of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). They will discuss the Turkish insurance market and its potential.
Organizers believe that establishing a dedicated session for Turkey presents a unique opportunity to introduce the Turkish insurance sector to foreign reinsurers and enhance reinsurance capacity in the country as participation from global insurance and reinsurance firms is expected at the congress.
