On October 23, TARSİM (Agricultural Insurance Pool) held a meeting in Antalya, hosted by Doğa Sigorta, aimed at informing local insurance agents about state-supported agricultural insurance systems. The event was attended by Bekir Engürü, TARSİM Board Member and General Manager, along with representatives from TARSİM’s Antalya Regional Office.
During the meeting, Engürü emphasized ongoing efforts to promote agricultural insurance, highlighting the significant potential that Antalya holds in this sector due to its agricultural landscape. He shared valuable insights and data regarding agricultural insurance in both Turkey and specifically in Antalya, noted for its extensive crop production and greenhouse farming practices.
Engürü also addressed questions from attendees, demonstrating a collaborative approach to enhancing the understanding and implementation of agricultural insurance among agents. The meeting illustrated a commitment from both Doğa Sigorta and TARSİM to strengthen the agricultural insurance framework in the region.
