The TARSİM (Agricultural Insurance Pool) delegation, led by Deputy General Manager Ertuğrul ÇELİK, recently visited the regions of Aydın and Muğla to assess the impact of recent wildfires on agricultural lands. The visit took place on August 22 and included inspections in Bozdoğan district of Aydın and the Kavaklıdere, Yatağan, and Milas districts of Muğla.
During the visit, the TARSİM team met with local authorities and affected producers, including those growing insured olives, pine nuts, figs, and chestnuts. The delegation provided information about agricultural insurance, extended their well-wishes, and listened to the concerns and requests of the farmers impacted by the fires. This outreach demonstrates TARSİM’s commitment to supporting the agricultural community during crises and underscores the importance of agricultural insurance in preserving livelihoods.
