On September 27, the Turkish Veterinary Physicians Central Union Council, represented by President Prof. Dr. Murat Arslan and Secretary General Prof. Dr. Murat Fındık, visited TARSİM (Agricultural Insurance Pool) for an exchange of information. During the visit, Bekir Engürüloğlu, a member of TARSİM’s Board of Directors and General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool, informed the delegation about the State-Supported Animal Life Insurance and its applications. He highlighted the positive impact of agricultural insurance on the sustainability of farmers’ activities amid natural disasters, diseases, and various risks.
Prof. Dr. Arslan and Prof. Dr. Fındık shared their insights and suggestions regarding potential collaborations for the development and dissemination of the agricultural insurance system.
