Ziya Aliyev, the Executive Director of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a presentation titled “Opportunities and Challenges in the Evolving Azerbaijan Insurance Market” during the International Insurance Summit. The address focused on the development of Azerbaijan’s economy and the vital factors driving the activation of its economic and insurance potential.
Aliyev provided insights into the current state of the Azerbaijan insurance sector, stressing the primary objective of enhancing the protection of national resources. Furthermore, he outlined the Central Bank’s strategic initiatives aimed at rejuvenating the sector and reviewed key actions implemented over the past five years to strengthen its framework and operations.
