The first day of the 3rd International Insurance Fair and Congress concluded with a pivotal panel discussion titled “The Impact of Digitalization on Insurance.” Supported by the Turkish Insurance Association and TOBB, this event took place in Antalya and highlighted critical issues surrounding the sector’s digital transformation. Moderated by Özgür Obalı, General Secretary of the Turkish Insurance Association, the panel featured significant contributions from key industry figures, including Sanem Cengiz, Deputy Director of SEDDK; Kantürk Öztürk, CEO of ANA Insurance; Serkan Avcı, Director of the Insurance Information Center; Azak Yaşarkurt, CEO of Valde Information Technologies; and Fatih Acer, Chairman of Incurtech HUB. The discussion focused on the opportunities and threats posed by artificial intelligence and machine learning in the insurance industry, shedding light on the industry’s ongoing digitalization journey.
