The Ege Sigorta Acenteleri Derneği (E.S.A.D.) Management Board continues its visits aimed at fostering collaboration and development within the insurance sector. During these meetings, the board discussed strategic short- and medium-term plans intended to advance İzmir’s insurance landscape. Key topics included the establishment of an academy within the association and preparation for the SEGEM exam scheduled for November 2, which will include training sessions.

The discussions among regional managers focused on critical issues such as the current state of the insurance industry, assessments for the last quarter of 2024, and expectations for 2025.

Banu Aldoğan, Regional Manager of Atlas Mutuel Sigorta in İzmir, emphasized the importance of sound risk management and pricing for technical profitability, reaffirming the company’s commitment to stand alongside agents and evaluate submitted risks meticulously.

Salim Boz, Regional Manager of Orient Sigorta A.Ş., highlighted the growing significance of risk management within the industry over the last five years, specifically noting the increasing importance of non-auto insurance products for insurers’ future. Boz expressed his steadfast support for İzmir agents, drawing on his extensive experience.

Mustafa Alperdem, Regional Manager of Anadolu Sigorta for the Western Anatolia region, commented on the evolution of insurance management practices, stating that Anadolu Sigorta carefully selects risks and maintains a strong partnership with agents, who contribute significantly to the company’s production.
