The Connect Group has launched Stability Re, a specialty reinsurer intended to provide binder capacity for its managing general agent (MGA), Stability Risk. This new entity will focus on underwriting various specialty and casualty lines, including directors and officers liability, cyber insurance, and professional indemnity. CEO Jamil Elbahou indicated that Stability Re aims to augment existing capabilities within the Lloyd’s and London Market, following the establishment of Stability Risk in September 2023. The initiative is part of Connect Group’s strategy to enhance its underwriting services while harnessing advanced technology for digital distribution.
