On November 19, Kamil Özdemir, Head of the Department of Agricultural Insurance and Natural Disasters and a Board Member of TARSİM, along with Bekir Engürülu, General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool and fellow Board Member, conducted stakeholder visits in Edirne. The TARSİM delegation first visited the Trakya Agricultural Research Institute, where discussions centered on state-supported agricultural insurance and potential collaboration.
Later that day, they met with Atilla Bayazit, the Edirne Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, to provide updates on regional agricultural insurance matters. During the discussion, they highlighted that sunflower products would be included in the village-based yield insurance program, benefiting from a 70% state subsidy in the upcoming period.
