On January 24, a delegation from the Turkish Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSİM), led by Kamil Özdemir, Head of the Agricultural Insurance and Natural Disasters Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, conducted a series of visits to key stakeholders in Çankırı. The TARSİM team, which included Bekir Engürüloğlu, TARSİM Board Member and General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool, met with Çankırı’s Governor Mustafa Fırat Taşolar, Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director Dr. Hüseyin Düzgün, and Nejat Gamzeli, President of the Çankırı Chamber of Agriculture.
The meetings focused on the implementation and expansion of the State-Supported Agricultural Insurance System, fostering discussions on enhancing regional activities to increase producer satisfaction. The delegation also presented a plaque to Governor Taşolar in recognition of his unwavering support for the dissemination of state-backed agricultural insurance initiatives.
This engagement underscores TARSİM’s commitment to improving agricultural insurance coverage and ensuring that farmers are adequately supported in the face of natural disasters.
