On December 4th, Güray Çelik, the General Manager of Türkiye Katılım Sigorta, and his Deputy, Doğukan Karakaya, visited TARSİM to discuss the current state of state-supported agricultural insurance in Turkey. During the meeting, Bekir Engürülü, a member of TARSİM’s Board of Directors and General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Pool Management, provided insights into government-supported agricultural insurance practices and their implementation.
Engürülü highlighted that since 2021, insurance policies have been issued in accordance with participation finance principles, successfully meeting the expectations of farmers. The discussions also focused on potential collaborations to further promote participation insurance within this sector, aiming to enhance support for producers under the agricultural insurance framework.
