Uğur Gülen, President of the Turkey Insurance Association (TSB), and Ender Yorgancılar, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), appeared on NTV’s BAKIŞ program hosted by Noyan Doğan. During the discussion, Gülen emphasized the importance of understanding what needs to be insured prior to purchasing insurance. He stated, “Correct insurance is achieved after mutual agreement is reached. It eliminates underinsurance and clarifies what exactly needs to be insured.” He noted that while some industrial companies are beginning to adopt this approach, many are still not doing so. Gülen pointed out that as companies grow and their corporate structures become more complex, the need for this understanding becomes more pressing. He also highlighted the necessity for an increase in both the quantity and quality of experts in the field to support this development.
