The 3rd Annual Insurance Essay Competition, held as part of Insurance Week, garnered significant attention from young professionals and university students entering the insurance sector. The winners were honored during the Gala Night on the first day of the 3rd International Insurance Summit, where they received their awards from Uğur Gülen, President of the Turkish Insurance Association, and Vice President Ahmet Yaşar.
The organizers extend their gratitude to the esteemed jury members who contributed to the design and evaluation of the competition, as well as to all participants. They look forward to reconnecting next year with new ideas and projects.
The victorious essays included:

– Mustafa Süner: “A New Era in Insurance with Blockchain Technology – The Role and Expectations of Generation Z”
– Betül Yaşar: “The Impact of Geopolitical Risks on the Insurance Sector”
The jury featured distinguished members from various academic institutions, including Prof. Dr. Nilüfer DALKILIÇ from Dumlupınar University, Doç. Dr. Özgür AKPINAR and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hasan MERAL from Marmara University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Behlül ERSOY from Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Fuat ÇAMLIBEL, editor of the International Journal of Insurance and Finance, and Dr. Aysun Yıldız ÖZER, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Insurance Association.
