Hironori Eguro, the Chair of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Sub-Committee on Ship Systems and Equipment (SSE), recently visited the Turk Loydu Marine Sector Directorate. During this visit, he engaged in discussions regarding the contributions of Turk Loydu to the activities of the SSE.
The SSE focuses on a diverse array of technical and operational issues pertaining to systems and equipment utilized across all types of vessels covered by IMO conventions. Key areas of interest include life-saving appliances, devices, and arrangements, as well as systems for fire detection and extinguishing. This meeting underscored the importance of collaboration in enhancing maritime safety and operational efficiency worldwide.
