The 46th Istanbul Marathon will see employees from Turkish Lloyd participating to support the Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı (TOG), one of Turkey’s most significant charity events. Established in 2002, TOG operates on the principle of “Youth leading with adult guidance,” providing social responsibility education to empower young people to address societal challenges through project initiatives.
Across all universities in Turkey, young volunteers come together as student clubs or groups to create impactful projects that span various themes, including children’s rights, cultural arts, ecology, health, animal rights, and sustainable living. Each year, these initiatives contribute positively to society, demonstrating the critical role of youth engagement in tackling pressing social issues.
This participation not only raises awareness for TOG’s mission but also promotes a culture of giving and social responsibility among the Turkish Lloyd community.
